This Is Karl

In the beginning Karl was in love with nature, but never hunted or fished.

He had many pets as he grew, and still cared for three dogs and five cats.

His favorite toys were cars, and dinosaurs.

Karl played football in Middle School and High School.

Karl never was in trouble at school. His grades were average, but he excelled on tests.

In a small town Karl had one serious girlfriend, late in his senior year.

Competing in the Academic Decathlon his  Junior  and  Senior  years  Karl  won a Gold medal at the Texas State level in Mathematics, and a team Bronze medal.

In college Karl was on the Dean's list both years on his way to becoming a commercial pilot. Here he is (self photo) on a solo cross country flight to earn his private pilot's license. Then came the tragedy! He met Jenilee.

Karl has been serving time

awaiting trial and has been

a model prisoner. He was

awarded trustee status briefly,

but it was taken away because

we can only assume the District

Attorney realized it meant that

the jail believed Karl was not

a threat to society. All of Karl's

mail is to family and friends. He

writes that he is sorry for what

has happened, and he misses his

family.

Jenilee has also been serving time

in the same facility and has begun

to show her true nature. She slit her

wrists in a manner to get attention

not to die. She has also been placed

in solitary confinement for fighting

with prisoners, and exposing herself to

trustees. It's now been six times for forty

days each. Her mail has been mainly

to prisoners at other jails, and has

since been cut off by the Kendall jail.

She also wrote a letter to a married

inmate at the Kendall jail to begin

another relationship, and other inmates.
